Susan Rogers, director of the National Mental Health Consumers' Self-Help Clearinghouse, compiles, writes and edits its free monthly e-newsletter, the Key Update, which is chock full of valuable information about the mental health and criminal legal systems in the United States. From the January 2023 edition, I (Jim Gottstein) decided to pull selected items that were of particular interest to me and post them here. (Susan tells me that she is grateful to have learned about some of the items that she includes in the newsletter from people who post them on the NCMHR e-list and the "research-lived experience" e-list. She learns about others on Twitter--where she posts @SusanRogersMH--and in a variety of publications.)
